Last week saw the shock passing of one of the most dedicated Heatherton United members, Enes Hadzovic. It was extremely sad news as Enes was a much loved person who gave so much to the club over the years.
Condolences to his family his friends and all those who knew him. Enes Hadzovic was a former player, team manager and secretary. He passed away on Saturday 28 April 2012 after a long battle with illness aged 56.
Former teammate Mehmed Muhedinovic summed it up perfectly:
"I will always remember Enes Hadzovic as a person who loved BH Centar and someone who was always prepared to spend his time and energy to help the club whenever he was needed.
I will never forget days when we played together for the reserve team of our beloved BH Centar at the end of the nineties. There were times when there were not enough players at the training as well as the game, but Enes was never that missing person even though he was 20 and more years older than some players. "Golden No 10", as we sometimes jokingly called him as you could take away from him anything but the shirt with No 10, was always present to not only play for the team, but also to take care of the paperwork. There were many times when he would take dirty team jerseys home for his wife to wash. At that time he was one of the main components in the clubs machinery.
Wonderful man was our Enes. Unfortunately he is no longer with us, but he will always stay in our memories."
